Epix music docuseries spotlights A&M Records

NEWS BRIEF: MGM-owned premium US cablent Epix has commissioned a two-part music docuseries, Mr A & Mr M: The Story of A&M Records, from The Kennedy/Marshall Company and Polygram Entertainment.

The two-parter, unveiled yesterday by Epix president Michael Wright, takes an in-depth look at the record label that helped foster the careers of some of the best known artists in the music industry, including The Police and The Carpenters, having been started by Herb Albert and Jerry Moss out of a garage in 1962.
