Under the terms of the agreement, the partnership will see the two companies explore content opportunities dedicated to spotlighting untold stories for Bell network CTV and streamer Crave.

The deal aims to bolster Bell Media’s pipeline of original content, following a recent development pact with Point Grey Pictures and Lionsgate, as well as a licensing and distribution deal with Fox Entertainment Global.

Pageboy Productions is developing a slate of drama, documentary and film projects including Len & Cub, a 6×60’ maritime romance series for Paramount+. The prodco specialises in championing content featuring underrepresented voices.

Elliot Page said: “Partnering with Bell Media feels like a natural evolution for Pageboy Productions.

“We’re excited to create captivating content that amplifies voices that deserve to be heard. This collaboration will allow us to tell powerful, genuine stories that challenge perspectives, and inspire audiences both at home and internationally.”

Sean Cohan, president, Bell Media, said: “Pageboy Productions brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to content creation.

“This pact signifies a shared commitment to fostering Canadian creativity, telling stories from different perspectives, and delivering impactful storytelling to audiences.”
