Dynamic TV trio handed new roles

LA-based distributor and financer Dynamic Television has promoted three members of its executive team.

Jan Bennemann

Jan Bennemann has been elevated to senior VP of acquisitions and coproductions, Gilda Demirtas has been upped to senior VP of international sales and Betsy Beam becomes director of content.

Bennemann will expand his current responsibilities overseeing coproductions and acquisitions of European drama series as well as developing original content, with a focus on the German and Nordic market.

Operating out of Dynamic’s Berlin office he has helped lead the company’s recent Nordic drama slate, including Summerdahl Murders and Deliver Us.

Prior to joining Dynamic, Bennemann worked as a producer in Germany and France, developing and producing more than 120 hours of drama including Transporter – The Serie, Alpin Rescue and The Godmother.

In her new role, Gilda Demirtas is responsible for sales in Asia, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe, German-speaking Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and Russia.

Based in Munich, she has led sales of Dynamic drama series including Z Nation, Trapped, The Day and Deliver Us to channels and platforms throughout her territories.

Prior to joining Dynamic, Demirtas was VP of international sales at Echo Bridge.

Betsy Beam, based in the company’s Los Angeles office, will focus on growing Dynamic’s English-language development slate and help oversee current shows in production, including the upcoming Netflix series Ginny & Georgia.
