Doc streamer MagellanTV goes wild in Central America with Nigel Marven

MagellanTV has inked a deal with wildlife TV presenter Nigel Marven to star in and produce content for the global doc streamer.

Marven, whose other credits include Discovery’s Shark Week and the BBC’s Chased by Dinosaurs, will star in Wild El Salvador – In the Shadow of the Volcano with Nigel Marven.

The doc sees Marven exploring volcanic Central America and encountering creatures that live in the shadows of legendary infernos. The project will launch exclusively on MagellanTV later this year, though a premiere date has not yet been set.

New York-headquartered MagellanTV has this week launched Wild Week, featuring several wildlife documentary features and series including World of the Wild, Wildest: Latin America. The programming lineup during Wild Week also features a trio of docuseries from Marven: Whale Adventures, Ten Deadliest Snakes and Cruise Ship Adventures.
