Discovery gets All Together in Mexico

Discovery Networks Mexico has acquired a factual entertainment format featuring a celebrity chef giving cooking masterclasses from The Story Lab in France.

All Together at the Table, produced in-house by Discovery under the new title Todos a la Cocina, will premiere on Discovery Home & Health.

The format sees a famous chef host a live, interactive cooking masterclass directly from their own kitchen. Ahead of each episode, the chef reveals the menu and the necessary ingredients on social media, allowing viewers to replicate the recipe during the live show.

The chef is also joined remotely by a co-host, as well as three families from different parts of the country, all of whom must try to keep up with the live cooking instructions, working from their respective kitchens at home.

The format originated on M6 in France while the country was in lockdown last year and Dentsu-owned content investor, producer and distributor The Story Lab has previously shopped it to SBS Vier in Belgium.

The French version is produced by local production house Kitchen Factory, part of Storyplus, and is hosted by celebrity chef Cyril Lignac.

The Mexican version will launch as an eight-episode primetime series initially on Discovery Home & Health before it airs on Food Network Latin America and Sony Channel in Mexico.
