Denmark’s TV2 orders tech-driven factual format AI Love You

AI Love You

Danish broadcaster TV2 has commissioned a factual format that explores how AI technology can help people deal with the grief of losing loved ones.

Created and produced by Banijay Nordic subsidiary Nordisk Film TV (All Against 1), AI Love You features couples who decide to use AI to preserve their love beyond life itself.

Guided by a psychologist and tech expert, they create a digital avatar of partners who are soon to pass away by collecting memories, letters, videos, anecdotes and emotions. Once their partner has died, the surviving loved one chooses whether to engage with the AI avatar or leave it untouched.

AI Love You is set to headline Banijay Entertainment’s London TV Screenings showcase at BAFTA Piccadilly next Wednesday. Other titles to be shopped to buyers include Against All Odds (Meter/ Jarowskij for SVT), Mission Unknown: Atlantic (Banijay Productions Germany for Prime Video), The Rest of Your Life (Pineapple Entertainment for DR1 and DR TV) and 30 Days & 30 Dates (Cuarzo for Mitele Plus).
