DeAPlaneta, GO-N team up to adapt Monster Shaker books for television

Monster Shaker is based on a French series of books

Spain’s DeAPlaneta Entertainment and French company GO-N Productions are teaming up to coproduce a TV adaptation of the Monster Shaker books by Mr Tan and Mathilde Domecq.

Published by France’s Editions Gallimard, the books follow a nine-year-old boy who discovers his grandfather’s cocktail shaker. This allows him and his 12-year-old sister to create crazy creatures with incredible powers.

The first season with be 52×13’ and targets six- to 10-year-olds. It will launch on TV in France in 2023, according to DeAPlaneta, and an accompanying YouTube channel will broadcast selected episodes.

GO-N Productions is best known for toons including Simon, Zip Zip and Simon Super Rabbit, while DeAPlaneta programmes for children include Miraculous Ladybug, Milo, Gormiti, Heidi and Maya the Bee.
