Toronto-based factual prodco Cream Productions has appointed Angelica Siegel as sustainability strategy manager.

Angelica Siegel

Siegel will join a dedicated in-house team to help the prodco fulfil its aim of being carbon negative across all its operations during the course of this year.

Siegel will oversee and coordinate the company’s green efforts across all offices and for all productions. More specifically, she will spearhead data analysis, develop internal and external reports, operationalise all green protocols and share her knowledge across the TV/film and circular economy ecosystem.

She has a background in consulting for UNICEF, Jewish National Fund of Canada, RallyRally Design, Switchgear Consulting and The Food Coach.

Powered by five employees, the team includes: Siegel; Patrick Cameron, senior VP of Operations; Irene Vandertop, director of business development; and finance, digital and production coordinators Cameron Sparks and Ricky Grella.

In production terms, so far this year Cream has enlisted an all-female creative team on the documentary Bathsheba, as well as producing docuseries: The Story of Late Night and History of the Sitcom for CNN; All or Nothing: Toronto Maple Leafs for Amazon Prime Video; and The Haunted Museum and A Ghost Ruined My Life with Eli Roth for Discovery+.
