Constantin Film makes Wright choice

Constantin Film, the German production company behind the Resident Evil movie franchise, has appointed Richard S Wright as its senior VP of physical production in LA.

Wright will oversee all production aspects of the company’s English-language film and television productions and report to Constantin Film’s co-presidents in LA, Martin Moszkowicz and Robert Kulzer.

Wright, who has more than 30 years experience in film and television, spent two decades as head of production at indie US film producer Lakeshore Entertainment, while his production credits include the Underworld franchise, Crank 1 & 2, Million Dollar Baby and Runaway Bride.

Constantin Film is best known for the Resident Evil franchise of six movies. A reboot, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, is set to be released on November 24. Other credits include Black Beauty at Disney+ and Monster Hunter.
