Constantin acquires Hager Moss

German prodco Constantin Film has acquired Munich-based drama production company Hager Moss Film.

Hager Moss was set up by Kirsten Hager and Eric Moss in 1989 and is known for making films with sociopolitical relevance for the big and small screen, such as documentary To the Limit.

The company has also been behind comedies and event productions for public and private broadcasters. Other projects under the Hager Moss banner include football rom-com Guys & Balls and crime drama Oktoberfest.

Constantin, which is behind the Resident Evil film franchise, recently acquired rights to bestselling comic book series Danger Girl and is planning to adapt it into both feature films and television shows.
