Condista meets Wiggleywoo’s Henry

The Day Henry Met is shopped by Monster Entertainment

US pay TV broadcaster Condista has picked up an animated preschool show that follows a four-year-old boy as he meets objects and people.

Condista has acquired the first three seasons of The Day Henry Met… for its Spanish- and English-language service Kids Central. It is due to air in early 2019.

The series is produced by Dublin-based Wiggleywoo and distributed internationally by Ireland’s Monster Entertainment.

The show, which is in production on its fourth season, premiered on RTÉ in Ireland before airing on Nick Jr in 178 countries and then moving to free TV and SVoD.

TVO in Canada has recently acquired rights to season three, while TV3 Catalunya in Spain has bought all four seasons of the show and will give the series its local premiere on free TV in 2019.

The series had its UK free TV premiere on Channel 5’s Milkshake! programming block last month.
