CJ ENM expands K-content distribution in CEE with Poland pact

KOCCA’s Poland-Korea Brand Week

South Korea’s CJ ENM is stepping up its K-content distribution efforts in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), following its recent expansion in India.

The company is looking to build closer ties with local broadcasters, streaming platforms and media partners and expand the reach of its Korean content across the CEE region.

As part of this strategy, the company participated in the 2026 Poland-Korea Brand Week, hosted by Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), engaging with local industry partners and audiences.

During the event, CJ ENM signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korean Cultural Centre in Poland and KOCCA to facilitate the expansion of Korean content in Poland and CEE through closer collaboration.

CJ ENM also signed partnerships with TV Markíza in Slovakia and TV Nova in the Czech Republic, both owned by European media group CME, covering a total of 10 titles. The deals include a range of CJ ENM’s scripted titles, further expanding the availability of Korean content across CEE.

“CEE is a market where we see strong potential for further growth,” said Sebastian Kim, head of content distribution business unit at CJ ENM. “We will continue to strengthen our partnerships with local broadcasters and platforms, while expanding our content offerings and creating more opportunities for audiences to discover and enjoy K-content.”
