C5 orders TM Logan thriller adaptation The Catch from Projector Pictures

Paramount-owned UK broadcaster Channel 5 has commissioned psychological thriller The Catch, based on author TM Logan’s 2020 novel of the same name.

The Catch is produced by Projector Pictures, in partnership with Germany’s Night Train Media and UK distributor All3Media International, and adapted for the screen by Michael Crompton (The Holiday, Silent Witness, Safe House, Kidnap & Ransom).

Rachel Gesua, Suzi McIntosh and Trevor Eve serve as executive producers for Projector Pictures, while and Herbert L Kloiber and Olivia Pahl exec produce for Night Train Media. The series was ordered by Paul Testar, commissioning executive for drama for Channel 5 and streamer Paramount+.

Set in the west of England, The Catch centres on a husband, father and local fisherman determined to do whatever it takes to keep his family together.
