London-based unscripted prodco Boldprint Studios has expanded its senior leadership team with the appointment of Dan Gray as head of programmes and the promotion of Jack Adcock to head of development.

In his newly created role, Gray will oversee the delivery of Boldprint’s current programming slate while working with the development team to drive the company’s unscripted offering globally.

Most recently at Twofour, Gray executive produced BBC dating show I Kissed a Boy and developed and exec produced I Kissed a Girl and ITV reality competition The Heat.

He has launched and grown many other returning brands including The Real Housewives (ITV and NBC) and Celebs Go Dating (Channel 4). His extensive credits also include The Circle (Channel 4), Sing On! (Netflix), Come Dine With Me (Channel 4) and The Only Way is Essex (ITV).

Adcock has been with Boldprint since 2024 and steps up following his success as development executive building the company’s early slate. During his time at the company, he has played a key role in the creation of Channel 4’s Swiped: The School that Banned Smartphones, and Amazon’s forthcoming Would You Rather: Decide to Survive.

Prior to joining Boldprint, he held roles at ITV Studios, Fulwell 73 and Rumpus Media, developing and producing a wide range of titles including Ed Sheeran: The Sum of it All (Disney+), Jonas Brothers Family Roast (Netflix), Mary Berry’s Highland Christmas (BBC 1), double BAFTA-nominated Late Night Lycett (Channel 4), CelebAbility (ITV2) and Ninja Warrior (ITV).

Phil Harris, founder and CEO of Boldprint Studios, said: “Jack is a special talent. His promotion is recognition of the formidable slate and team that he’s built since Boldprint’s inception just under two years ago. We look forward to lots more success – and fun – together.

“Adding to that, Dan is one of the best next-generation unscripted programme makers in the country and we are unbelievably lucky to have tempted him over to us. His values, ambition and attitude align perfectly with what we are trying to achieve here at Boldprint.”
