NEWS BRIEF: BBC Three and BBC Northern Ireland have co-commissioned a series that follows the young team behind a local cosmetics brand in Belfast.

Produced by Afro-Mic Productions, Made Up in Belfast goes behind the glitz and glamour of the cosmetics industry to focus on the employees of a Belfast-based company who are chasing their dreams in the beauty industry. The 10-parter is the latest commission from the partnership between BBC Three, BBC Northern Ireland and Northern Ireland Screen. Afro-Mic’s founder Emma-Rosa Dias produces.
