Banijay Germany to launch creator-led version of Beat the Star on YouTube, Twitch

Banijay Germany is launching a creator-led version of its entertainment format Schlag den Star (Beat the Star) on YouTube and Twitch.

The adaptation, Schlag den Aaron (Beat Aaron), is produced by Banijay Germany label Brainpool and will launch on October 26.

Originally created by Brainpool, Beat the Star sees contestants attempt to beat a celebrity in a number of disciplines to win a cash prize.

In the new adaptation, YouTuber Aaron Troschke will be joined by fellow YouTube influencer Marvin Wildhage as they face-off against Twitch stars Zarbex and Max Schradin.

Beat Aaron will be broadcast live simultaneously on the YouTube channels of Troschke and Wildhage, and the Twitch channels of Zarbex and Schradin.
