Avatar 3D to premiere on Sky

NEWS BRIEF: UK satcaster Sky 3D has secured the rights to the 3D version of James Cameron’s Avatar, which will make its world TV premiere in the UK on Christmas Eve at 20.00.

The film, the world’s highest-grossing movie to date, joins a line-up that includes dinosaur documentary Sir David Attenborough’s Flying Monsters 3D and music event The Prince’s Trust Rock Gala 3D.
