ATS relocates global HQ to London, appoints Danny Sanz as CEO

MIPCOM: Production services firm ATS is relocating its headquarters from Los Angeles to London and has upped long-serving Danny Sanz to CEO.

Sanz, who previously served as chief operating officer, steps into the CEO role after more than a decade at ATS, during which he has overseen large-scale productions across the US, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

He will now lead the group’s creative, strategic, and operational direction worldwide, guiding its expansion into new markets.

As COO and MD, Sanz was behind some of ATS’s international projects including Bear Hunt (Costa Rica), The Bridge (Vietnam), SAS: Who Dares Wins (Vietnam), Top Dog Germany, and over 85 seasons of the global hit Ninja Warrior.

Under Sanz’s leadership, ATS has expanded its global footprint, growing from its original base in Los Angeles to include offices in London, Lisbon, and Manchester.

Looking ahead, ATS is focused on developing new original formats, expanding strategic partnerships, and delivering premium content for both broadcasters and streamers across global markets.
