Apple TV renews Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed for season two

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed stars Jake Johnson and Tatiana Maslany

Apple TV has renewed comedy thriller series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed for a second season.

Produced by Apple Studios and Counterpart Studios, the series premiered in May this year.

Created and written by David J Rosen, who is also showrunner, it follows a newly divorced mum who falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer.

Convinced she witnessed a crime, while simultaneously struggling through a custody battle and an identity crisis, she begins her own investigation.

Starring Tatiana Maslany and Jake Johnson in the lead roles, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed is exec produced by Rosen, Simon Kinberg, Audrey Chon, Bard Dorros and David Gordon Green, who also directs.
