Ample Entertainment hires ex-Thinkfactory exec Brian Dale to oversee originals

LA-based factual prodco Ample Entertainment has hired Brian Dale, former exec at ITV America’s Thinkfactory Media, as senior VP of digital content.

In the newly created role, Dale will oversee development and production for Ample Originals, the prodco’s YouTube channel for original documentaries, creator collaborations and companion content.

His responsibilities will include leading the launch of new channels and the development of programming and franchises with established and emerging talent.

He will also lead Ample’s digital editorial, optimisation and marketing teams, reporting to CEO Ari Mark and working closely with him on digital strategy and creator partnerships.

As well as the launch of Ample Originals, Ample Entertainment recently agreed a partnership with interior designer Nate Berkus to develop original IP for a standalone YouTube channel called Nate Berkus Presents.

Ample is also developing shortform and microdrama projects, complementary formats around its television IP and a slate of celebrity-led vodcasts.

Dale previously worked at Thinkfactory Media for 15 years, most recently as senior VP of development. During his tenure, he spearheaded unscripted projects including Rat in the Kitchen (TBS), Preachers’ Daughters (Lifetime), Vet School (National Geographic) and Carole Baskin’s Cage Fight (Discovery+). He left in summer 2025.

Mark said: “It’s no secret that production companies need to take the reins to create, own and distribute. Digital offers that opportunity but it takes exceptional creative talent to make it work. Brian is a format machine with seasoned production experience and a sharp instinct for what connects with audiences. I’m thrilled to have his talent and experience at Ample.”
