MotorTrend renews original trio

Discovery-owned automotive-focused cablenet MotorTrend has renewed its original series Iron Resurrection, Bitchin’ Rides and Texas Metal.

Iron Resurrection takes viewers inside Martin Bros Customs, where a team of engineers rebuild and recover derelict old trucks.

Bitchin’ Rides sees a team render, design, build and restore vehicles from the ground up, while Texas Metal follows Houston’s Ekstensive Metal Works as they build one-off cars and trucks for people from around the country.

Iron Resurrection has been renewed for a fifth season, while Bitchin’ Rides and Texas Metal return for their seventh and fourth seasons, respectively.

Iron Resurrection is produced by Discovery Studios, Bitchin’ Rides is produced by Fischer Productions and Texas Metal is produced by BMC Inc.
