Megamax puts on Matt Hatter

Chello Central Europe children’s channel Megamax has picked up two seasons of UK/Canadian animated series Matt Hatter Chronicles.

The pan-regional kids’ net will begin airing the first season of the CGI action-adventure series in November across Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The toon follows the adventures of a young boy who can travel between dimensions and is produced by UK prodco Platinum Films and Toronto-based Dream Mill, with animation from Arc Productions.

Megamax is the latest to pick up the toon, which has now been sold into over 80 countries worldwide, according to distributor Platinum.

Szilvia Maschek, head of kids at Chello Central Europe, said: “Matt Hatter will be a perfectly fitting show to our schedule and our adventure-comedy based programming focus.”
