MBC, Ooredoo unveil channel

Middle East broadcaster MBC and Qatar-based media group Ooredoo TV have launched their first channel together.

Egypt-set period drama Dahsha

MBC+ has become available to Ooredoo TV customers and features series such as Tabakh Al Sultan, Scoop, Dahsha, El Hokm and El Hob Al Halal.

The channel launch is part of a multi-year memorandum of understanding the two media groups signed last year, which gave Ooredoo exclusive rights to some of MBC’s most popular HD channels in Qatar.

With this latest partnership, Ooredoo TV also get access to MBC’s online service Shahid Plus, which features exclusive Arabic series and movies on demand.
