Cuatro’s Heroes Mas Alla Del Deber (Life on Duty)

Israel’s Gil Formats has secured a deal in Italy for its primetime factual entertainment format Life on Duty.

Banijay Group’s Nonpanic will work on the Italian version, which follows a development deal for the format signed in France with commercial broadcaster TF1.

The second season of the Spanish adaptation of the show, titled Heroes Mas Alla Del Deber, launched in January on Mediaset’s Cuatro.

In the same month it was announced that Discovery Networks Latin America and US Hispanic had acquired the finished programme rights to the first season of the Spanish show.

Life on Duty is an original factual entertainment format that follows characters from several emergency services. The series contrasts their heroic days and nights spent on the job with their often neglected private lives.
