Lennox named Banff board chairman

Randy Lennox, president of Canadian broadcast group Bell Media, has been elected chair of the board of directors at The Banff World Media Festival.

Lennox succeeds John Morayniss, president of JDM Media and former Entertainment One TV boss, who served as chair of the board for three years.

As president of Bell Media, Lennox is responsible for all of the company’s businesses, including TV, radio, digital and out-of-home, as well as new ventures and partnerships.

Lennox joined Bell Media in August 2015 as president of production and broadcasting, before being elevated to his current position in February 2017.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of The Banff World Media Festival, which takes place in the town in Alberta, Canada. The 2019 edition will be held from June 9-12.
