ITV sweetens Sunday line-up

ITV in the UK has commissioned a daytime cooking series fronted by John Torode and Lisa Faulkner and has ordered more episodes of This Morning on Sunday.

John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen (9×60’) will see the couple host from a cosy modern kitchen every Sunday morning as they cook simple yet tasty dishes.

Meanwhile, following a recent 10-week run, This Morning on Sunday will continue with another 10 one-hour episodes, executive produced by Martin Frizell.

Both programmes come from ITV Studios (ITVS) Daytime and were commissioned by ITV heads of daytime Jane Beacon and Clare Ely plus ITV commissioning editor Lara Akeju. Sue Walton is the executive producer and commercial executive for ITVS Daytime.
