Hit+Run speeds off with Korn

US unscripted prodco Hit+Run has promoted one of the first executives to join the company to a role overseeing its development slate.

Noah Korn

Senior director of development Noah Korn, who has been with Hit+Run since the firm was launched by former ITV Studios America exec Rob Shaftel last year, has been upped to VP of development.

The expanded role will see Korn continue to work alongside Shaftel to develop narrative-driven series and formats for broadcast and cable networks as well as for digital platforms.

Korn will also oversee Hit+Run’s development slate, which includes I Was Prey (Animal Planet), Way Past Midnight (Red BullTV) and American Down Low (Complex Networks/Rated Red).

His promotion comes after Hit+Run signed a coproduction deal with former Red Bull Media House exec Brian Lavin and his new firm.

Prior to joining Hit+Run, Korn was ITV Studios America’s director of development at its New York office, where he developed series such as Secret Space Escapes (Science Channel), Rebel Gold (Discovery) and Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters (Animal Planet).
