The four-parter sheds light on the life of former US first lady, secretary of state and presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. It features exclusive interviews with Clinton and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, as well as White House staff members, presidential campaign advisers and friends to chronicle her life and her 2016 run for the presidency.

Hillary is directed by Oscar nominee Nanette Burstein, who also executive produces alongside Howard T Owens and Ben Silverman. Isabel San Vargas, Timothy Moran, Chi-Young Park and Tal Ben-David all serve as producers on the title.

Hillary will be exclusively available for Sky and Now TV customers on the new Sky Documentaries channel unveiled earlier this week, which is due to launch in spring.

“With the upcoming launch of our brand-new factual service, Sky Documentaries, Hillary is exactly the kind of premium and engaging storytelling our customers are looking for,” said Sophie Judge, Sky’s head of acquisitions.

“From an award-winning filmmaker, and featuring incredible access to the inner circle of one of the most controversial politicians of our time, we’re thrilled to bring this biographical docuseries to Sky audiences soon.”
