HBO Max lengthens Love Life

Jin Ha and Anna Kendrick in the first season of Love Life

WarnerMedia’s newly launched SVoD service HBO Max has handed out its first renewal, ordering a second season of romantic comedy anthology series Love Life.

The second run will remain set in New York City but will revolve around a new character.

The first season, starring Anna Kendrick, has become one of the streamer’s top performers since its premiere.

Love Life is produced by Lionsgate Television and Feigco Entertainment. The series comes from creator Sam Boyd who co-showruns with Bridget Bedard. Boyd and Bedard also serve as exec producers alongside Kendrick, Paul Feig and Dan Magnante.
