GoQuest picks up pair of Serbian dramas

Serbian spy thriller Civil Servant

India-based distributor GoQuest Media has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to two drama series from Serbian telecoms and cable TV operator Telekom Srbija.

Civil Servant (12×50’) is a spy thriller produced by Telekom Srbija and Film Danas and follows a Serbian secret service agent.

The second series, Debt to the Sea (11×50’), is produced by Telekom Srbija and Monte Royal Pictures International and focuses on the fallout after a stranger arrives in a village in Montenegro.

Paula McHarg, appointed head of Europe and North America at GoQuest Media a year ago, said: “As the New Year sets in, with viewer demand for high-quality series rising, we are excited to team up with Telekom Serbia, who has been a steady leader in the recent boom of premium content emerging from Serbia.”
