Floogals head to Asia, Europe

Floogals debuted on Sprout in 2016

Broadcasters in Asia and Europe have become the latest to pick up animated series Floogals from Zodiak Kids.

Thai PBS Kids, Radio Television Hong Kong, MediaCorp in Singapore and Discovery Kids Asia Networks have acquired the 52×11′ show, which launched on NBCUniversal-owned Sprout in the US last year.

In Europe, Piwi+, the preschool channel owned by Canal+, has acquired the show for France and French-speaking territories worldwide.

Produced using a mixture of photo-real CGI and live action, Floogals follows pocket-sized aliens and their adventures around Earth.

It is based on an original idea from Dan Good that was developed by Zodiak Kids Studios UK in conjunction with UK special effects studio Jellyfish Pictures and Nevision.

Other broadcasters to have acquired the series from Zodiak Kids include ABC in Australia, Cartoonito and DeAJunior in Italy, and Discovery Kids in Latin America.
