Happy Ending TV’s Gente Maravillosa

NATPE: Endemol Shine Boomdog (ESB) has teamed up with Glowstar Media and Sinapsis Produccion to bring Spanish format Gente Maravillosa to buyers in Mexico and the US.

The reality show, from Spain’s Happy Ending TV, captures reactions to injustice and discrimination using hidden cameras and has aired weekly in Spain since 2017.

ESB was formed in November the same year, when Endemol Shine North America merged its Spanish-language division with Mexico-based prodco Boomdog. The company is now set to become part of Banijay following last year’s US$2.2bn buy-out of its parent.

Glowstar Media and Sinapsis are both based in Argentina, the former led by one-time Dori Media exec Silvana D’Angelo, the latter by renowned producer and showrunner Marcos Gorban.
