Julien Degroote
Executive VP, head of content development
TF1 Group
Degroote is responsible for commissioning, developing, creating and overseeing new shows at France’s leading network. He oversees new programming across TF1, TMC, TFX and digital platform MyTF1, with credits including The Masked Singer, Ninja Warrior, Star Academy and The Wall. He also leads global trend scouting for scripted and unscripted formats.

Helen Nightingale
Head of factual and factual entertainment commissioning
UKTV
Nightingale oversees content across UKTV channels U&Dave, U&W, U&Yesterday and U&Gold. Since 2015, she has commissioned hit shows including Emma Willis: Delivering Babies and Secrets of the London Underground.

Sinéad Stimpfig
Head of commissioning
Virgin Media Television
Stimpfig leads commissioning strategy across all genres and platforms at Virgin Media Television. Since joining in 2020, she has commissioned standout international dramas like Dead & Buried and Faithless, and championed original Irish formats including The Clinic for Well People and Help Me Buy a Home. Her factual hits include The Guards and Brain Doctors: Inside Neurosurgery.

As part of the Content Strategies track, Degroote, Nightingale and Stimpfig will shed light on how they are evolving their commissioning priorities in response to a shifting global landscape marked by economic pressure, audience fragmentation and the need for scalable, cross-platform IP.

They will explore how their networks are balancing returnable formats with risk-taking innovation, and how international collaboration and co-development are driving the next wave of unscripted success.

From primetime family formats and talent-led factual to constructed reality and access-driven storytelling, these execs will spotlight the genres and themes that landed with audiences in 2025 and will also offer insight into the types of partnerships, pitches and talent relationships they’re prioritising heading into 2026.

More speakers will be announced for the Content Strategies track at Content London.

This year’s Content London will follow the headline theme of how to Define Your Future In The New Content Economy, built around a set of core conference strands including Reaching Gen Z, Generative AI Decoded and How to Thrive in the Creator Economy.
