NBCUniversal Entertainment, UCP, Universal International Studios, Versant and Vice Studios to share content strategies shaping The New Content Economy at Content London

NBCUniversal Entertainment’s Lisa Katz, UCP and Universal International Studios’ Beatrice Springborn, Versant’s Cori Abraham and Blake Levin, and Vice Studios’ Amy Powell are the latest industry leaders confirmed to share their content strategies at Content London in a series of focused panel sessions.

Katz and Springborn will be joined by Sky’s Meghan Lyvers in a conversation designed for independent producers, creatives and financiers, where the leaders from Sky, Peacock and Universal International Studios will explore how these companies work with the wider industry, from deficit financing to coproduction opportunities.
Abraham and Levin, the executives driving unscripted strategy at Versant, will outline their content priorities across Oxygen, E!, USA Network and Syfy. They will share the types of projects and talent they’re seeking and how they are positioning their brands within the marketplace.
Vice Studios’ Powell will outline how the company’s new production facility is designed to turn cultural insight into long-term enterprise value and will share how Vice is building a franchise-generating powerhouse that combines creative risk-taking, audience insight and scalable IP to deliver defining content for the new era.

Scripted series under her purview include NBC’s Law & Order and One Chicago franchises, St Denis Medical, Happy’s Place and upcoming comedies Stumble and The Fall & Rise of Reggie Dinkins, as well as Peacock’s The Paper, Poker Face, Bel-Air, All Her Fault and more.
Beatrice Springborn

Springborn is president of UCP and Universal International Studios, divisions of Universal Studio Group, where she oversees all aspects of the two studios’ award-winning slates, including Sky/Peacock hits The Day of the Jackal and All Her Fault and Downton Abbey, as well as Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy and Five Star Weekend.
Cori Abraham

Versant
Abraham oversees all unscripted programming across Versant’s entertainment networks, which include USA, E!, Syfy and Oxygen. She reports to Val Boreland, president of entertainment at Versant Entertainment. Previously, Abraham served as senior VP of unscripted, documentary and crime at NBCUniversal Entertainment.
Blake Levin

Versant
At Versant, Levin is responsible for discovering and supervising the development of documentary, true crime, lifestyle and docuseries programming for the Versant entertainment portfolio, which includes USA, E!, Syfy and Oxygen. He reports to Cori Abraham, senior VP, development, unscripted content.
Amy Powell

Vice Studios
Powell is an Emmy-winning studio executive and producer who is currently president of the production arm of Vice Media. Since joining in May 2025, she has quickly made an impact, recently securing a US$75m credit facility with Western Alliance Bank, enabling up to US$500m in content projects over the next three to five years.
