Content London’s Formats & Factual strand has been given another boost with the confirmation that key execs from Amazon’s UK unscripted team will be taking part in a dedicated Content Strategies session at the event.
Amazon Studios UK unscripted head Fozia Khan, and unscripted executives from the division Cat Lynch and Harjeet Chhokar, will be joined by Hannah Blyth, head of TV for Prime Video UK, to discuss the streamer’s UK content strategies for the year ahead, drilling down on key new titles in the factual and formats space.

Fozia Khan
Head of unscripted

Khan is the head of unscripted at Amazon Studios UK where she oversees a varied slate including All or Nothing: Arsenal, Clarkson’s Farm, The Fake Sheikh and upcoming, 007: Road To A Million. Prior to joining Amazon, she was a commissioning editor for documentaries at Channel 4 where she worked across 24 Hours in Police Custody and commissioned Damilola: The Boy Next Door and Is Covid Racist? Prior to commissioning, Khan was a documentary director and producer for 16 years. Her production credits include The Audience, Posh People: Inside Tatler and Extremely British Muslims.
Cat Lynch
Unscripted executive

Lynch is an unscripted development exec leading on formats and factual entertainment. Since joining at the start of the year she delivered Romesh and Tom Take Takeshi’s Castle, as well as workingacross upcoming series LOL: Ireland, Hot Mess Summer and Married to the Game. Before starting at Amazon, Lynch was with Banijay label Initial, first as head of development before progressing to creative director and, from 2018, co-MD. In this time she helped grow the company’sslate, developing and overseeing a range of reality and entertainment shows. She began her career on the Endemol Creative Internship scheme, and went on to train several teams of interns, as well as freelancing in development and production.
Harjeet Chhokar
Unscripted executive

Chhokar is unscripted development executive in the UK Originals team. He works across the UK slate, with a focus on factual and non-live unscripted sports docs. Chhokar has worked across recent Amazon Originals, such as Clarkson’s Farm S2 and S3, All or Nothing Arsenal, The Greatest Show Never Made and the BAFTA award winning Three Mothers, Two Babies and a Scandal, as well as sport launches That Peter Crouch Film, We are Newcastle United and Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything. Prior to joining Amazon Studios, Chhokar was a commissioning editor in the Channel 4Factual team and commissioned and delivered a range of series and singles, such as Murder Island, Marine A, 999: ON the Frontline and In the Footsteps of Killers. Before entering the world of commissioning, Chhokar worked in Factual programming, working up to a series producer on documentaries such as Ambulance, MisFITS Like Us and Pilgrimage.
Hannah Blyth

Blyth started out at NBCUniversal, where she worked across multiple departments including business development, sales and production before moving into commercial strategy. She joined Amazon in 2017 as part of the acquisitions team and now heads up TV for Prime Video in the UK and Ireland across licensing, pre-buys and copros, with a focus on commissioning both scripted and unscripted UK content. Recent titles include Fifteen Love, starring Aidan Turner and Ella Lily Hyland, Roland Emmerich’s Those About to Die, and Charlotte Coben’s Dead Hot, starring Bilal Hasna and Vivian Oparah.
