Content India opens Copro Pitch competition to find next-gen local projects that can work locally and become global hits

The inaugural Content India Copro Pitch 2026 is now open for entries, offering a £10,000 marketing prize for two winners, one scripted and one unscripted, with shortlisted projects showcased live to the domestic and international coproduction community at Content India in March.

The pitch is designed to uncover some of the most exciting new project ideas from the Indian production community that will resonate locally, while also looking for international coproduction partners to help the project achieve global success.

The competition is open for early-stage scripted and unscripted series, and is actively seeking digital-first, shortform and longform linear series projects.

The Content India Copro Pitch 2026 will bring C21’s tried-and-tested pitch competition format to Mumbai for the first time, awarding the winners a prize of £10,000 worth of marketing across C21Media’s digital, print and event products to support development and pre-sales promotion of the show.

The competition is open to established producers from India looking for international coproduction partnerships.

The deadline for entries is February 15, 2026, 23.59 GMT.

Projects will be shortlisted and a select number will be invited to present a live pitch during Content India, which takes place from March 16-18, 2026, in Mumbai. The winning pitch will be announced during the event.

Successful submissions will be notified if they have been selected to pitch by February 20, 2026.
