Taylor is head of BBC Studios’ AI Creative Lab, a newly established initiative focused on accelerating innovation across the company’s global production business. In this role, she is responsible for defining and delivering the lab’s strategic roadmap, ensuring AI is applied in ways that are creative, editorially robust and commercially relevant.
Taylor also serves as BBC Studios’ principal advocate for AI use in production, leading a specialist team of creatives, technologists and producers to explore how emerging technologies can unlock new opportunities across scripted, unscripted, global productions, audio, and kids and family content.
Prior to joining BBC Studios, Taylor spent almost a decade at The Walt Disney Studios, where she led the acclaimed StudioLAB programme and delivered award-winning innovation in AI, immersive experiences, virtual production, real-time technologies and interactive storytelling.

McVay joined AIMICI, the UK-based responsible AI adoption platform offering industry-standard AI training and reporting, earlier this year. AIMICI aims to help creative businesses navigate AI requirements by setting a clear standard for AI training certification and AI transparency.
McVay previously spent nearly 25 years as CEO of Pact, the UK screen sector trade body for independent production and distribution companies in film, TV, animation, children’s and digital production. He stepped down earlier this year.
Under McVay’s leadership, Pact secured landmark victories for the sector, most notably the Terms of Trade under the Communications Act 2003, which allowed independent producers to retain their intellectual property for the first time, a change widely documented as transforming the sector into a major contributor to the UK economy.
A trusted voice in government and international policy, McVay sits on the Creative Industries Council and has served on the boards of the British Film Commission, the Creative Diversity Network and the Creative Cities Convention.

Kevin Chong
Chief operating officer
Utopai Studios
Chong oversees the company’s global operations and strategic growth, helping to build a next-generation entertainment studio that combines world-class storytelling with AI.
