A+E Global Media, CNN Worldwide and Sky to reveal factual content strategies and priorities at Content London

A+E Factual Studios’ Steve Ascher, CNN Original Series’ Katie Isaacson and Sky’s Hayley Reynolds have joined the Content London speaker line-up, bringing insight into what three major international content businesses are looking for in factual and documentary programming.

Ascher oversees the development and production of premium non-fiction programming across history, true crime, documentary, sports and lifestyle genres. He also leads the studio’s broader content strategy, including talent partnerships, third-party development and emerging areas such as AI-enhanced storytelling, digital content and new product innovation.

Katie Isaacson
Senior director, programme development
CNN Original Series
Emmy winner Isaacson joined CNN in 2016 and is responsible for cultivating relationships within the creative community and developing and producing original non-fiction programming across CNN’s global platforms. She works closely with the wider CNN Original Series team to develop and produce series including three-time Emmy-winning Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy and Space Shuttle Columbia: The Final Flight, CNN’s first coproduction with the BBC.

Hayley Reynolds

Sky
Reynolds joined Sky shortly after the launch of Sky Documentaries in 2021. Recent highlights under her watch include Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, Boyzone: No Matter What and The Salt Path Scandal, alongside multi-award-winner Bibaa & Nicole: Murder in the Park and Libby, Are You Home Yet?, reflecting Sky’s ambition to tell bold, distinctive stories that resonate with audiences and critics alike.
