From 2014 to 2020 she was head of Rai Teche while from 2016 to 2019 she was assigned responsibility for the Rai Play Content.

In November 2020 she was appointed head of drama. Ammirati wrote a number of novels and publications and received several awards, including 2001 Strega Award Selection, 2011 Campiello Award Selection, Procida Award, Basilicata Award. She is also a member of various literary juries, including Premio Strega, Premio Viareggio, Premio Rapallo.

From 2019 Ammirati is a member of the board of directors of Rai Pubblicità; from 2017 to 2020 she was a member of the board of directors of Rai Cinema S.p.A. and from 2020 to 2021 she was president of Istituto Luce-Cinecittà.

Anderson is the head of AVOD original content and programming for Amazon Studios, overseeing all programming, including creative development, production, licensing, scheduling, research, and strategy for Amazon Freevee and Prime Video’s ad-supported FAST linear channels. Additionally, Anderson recently assumed responsibility for the unscripted programming strategy across all of Studios, including SVOD and AVOD programming. She joined Amazon Studios in 2019 as the head of strategic content, managing such series as the Savage X Fenty Show for Prime Video. In 2020, she became Co-head of content and programming for IMDb TV (now Freevee). Early accomplishments for Freevee included bringing the iconic Judge Judy Sheindlin to a streaming audience, shepherding Amazon’s first partnership with prolific creator Dick Wolf—his only half-hour crime procedural—and developing the AVOD spinoff of Prime Video’s longest-running series, Bosch. In 2020, Anderson was named to Next TV’s “The Watch List” as well as Business Insider’s “AVOD Industry Leaders,” and, in 2021, was named as one of Broadcast & Cable’s “Wonder Women.”

Before joining Amazon, Anderson was the Chief content officer for Indigo Development and Entertainment Arts, the joint venture studio between NBCUniversal and Snapchat. As CCO, she was responsible for all aspects of the studio’s business and creative development. During her tenure, Anderson helped launch Snap Originals on the Discover platform, making key contributions to the inaugural slate of programming, including the Webby-nominated The Dead Girls Detective Agency.

Axel Arnö

Arnö was recently appointed head of documentary and science at SVT. Before that, he was a Commission editor at SVT’s documentary department, dealing mainly with international current affairs, special series and creative documentaries. He has commissioned numerous award-winning international co-productions.

Axel has been chairing the EBU Documentary Group since many years ago. He is a regular at the big documentary festivals and forums where he is frequently seen as moderator.

Arnö is 59, married, has three grown-up kids, two cats, six bikes and lives just outside Stockholm.

Fabrizio Battocchio
Head of formats and factual entertainment, RTI

Battocchio has been running the format department since 1999 and was appointed head of factual entertainment and documentaries in 2013. He is a lecturer at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milano, where he teaches Languages and Creativity in Meda and Television formats. He is also a writer of essays on communication pragmatics, television production, formats and genres.

Beale joined ITV Studios in June 2011 to oversee creation and production of all ITV Studios formats. He managed the company’s slate of new and established formats, including The Chase, I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, Hell’s Kitchen, Come Dine With Me and rolled out the latest reality hit, Love Island.

He has extensive experience working in production and formats at a range of producer/broadcasters and production companies including NBCUniversal (Minute To Win It, Top Chef), BBC (WeakestLink, Friends Like These), Hat Trick (Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Confessions).

In addition, as President of PTVS, Clemens oversees a robust slate of shows for buyers across multiple platforms, including Emmy Nominated Station Eleven for HBO Max, Reacher and Jack Ryan for Amazon Prime, American Gigolo for SHOWTIME, Defending Jacob, Shantaram and Time Bandits for Apple TV+, and The Haunting anthology series for Netflix.

Before coming to Paramount, Clemens was a producer at Anonymous Content. Previously, she served as executive vice president and head of series development for FX Networks, with a roster of original series including Atlanta, Snowfall, Better Things, You’re the Worst, Baskets, Tyrant, Mayans MC, and The Strain.

Clemens was a partner and Head of the Motion Picture Literary Department at ICM Partners for 16 years, preceded by tenures running Rod Holcomb Productions and as a television executive at Spelling Television.

Riley’s previous role was the inaugural head of ABC TV’s Indigenous Department where she pioneered ground-breaking productions such as Cleverman, Gods of Wheat Street, Black Comedy, 8MMM, The Warriors, and Redfern Now, the first series to be commissioned, written, acted and produced by Indigenous Australians.

Stateless and Mystery Road S2 received their world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival 2020 and were the only Australian television series that were selected to premiere at this prestigious event.

In the uphaul of our television infrastructure in the current times, Riley is driven to attract a unique audience to view and strengthen partnerships with international exhibitors, across OTT services, linear and co-producer partners to advocate for Australian content with broad reach.

In 2020, Riley was inducted as a new member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences for her advocacy to strengthen the diversity of voices across age, race, gender and ability both on and off the screen.
