Amazon Studios, Pluto TV, Roku Originals and ViX+ bolster AVOD mission at Content London

With AVOD taking centre stage at Content London Amazon Studios, Pluto TV, Roku Originals and ViX+ are the latest platforms to join the speaker line-up.

Joining the Content London speaker line-up:

Lauren Anderson, Head of AVOD original content and programming, Amazon Studios
Anderson oversees all programming, including creative development, production, licensing, scheduling, research, and strategy for Amazon Freevee and Prime Video’s ad-supported FAST linear channels. Additionally, Anderson recently assumed responsibility for the unscripted programming strategy across all of Studios, including SVOD and AVOD programming. She joined Amazon Studios in 2019 as the head of strategic content, managing such series as the Savage X Fenty Show for Prime Video. In 2020, she became co-head of content and programming for IMDb TV (now Freevee). Early accomplishments for Freevee included bringing the iconic Judge Judy Sheindlin to a streaming audience, shepherding Amazon’s first partnership with prolific creator Dick Wolf—his only half-hour crime procedural—and developing the AVOD spinoff of Prime Video’s longest-running series, Bosch. In 2020, Anderson was named to Next TV’s “The Watch List” as well as Business Insider’s “AVOD Industry Leaders,” and, in 2021, was named as one of Broadcast & Cable’s “Wonder Women.” Before joining Amazon, Anderson was the chief content officer (CCO) for Indigo Development and Entertainment Arts, the joint venture studio between NBCUniversal and Snapchat. As CCO, she was responsible for all aspects of the studio’s business and creative development.

Olivier Jollet, EVP and international GM, Pluto TV
Jollet’s leadership has propelled Pluto TV to become the world’s leading Free Ad-supported Streaming Television (FAST) service, with a presence in three continents and more than 30 countries and territories. Jollet leads a coordinated approach to the further expansion of the service outside the U.S. by collaborating with leaders across Pluto TV’s business, including ad sales, content distribution, marketing, and finance. In his former role as SVP and GM of Pluto TV, Jollet worked to define and develop Pluto TV’s expansion and business development strategies, secured strategic partnerships to drive growth and revenue. Previously, Jollet served as SVP of strategy & business development, where he was responsible for expanding the company’s international streaming and mobile business units, tapping into new, ground-breaking technologies including 5G and IOT. He also leveraged his extensive expertise, as well as market and competitive analysis, to inform the company’s strategy for the continued expansion of Paramount+ and Pluto TV.

David Eilenberg, VP and head of Roku Originals, Roku
Eilenberg is leading the charge to establish Roku’s free ad-supported streaming service The Roku Channel as a destination for both scripted and unscripted original content. He is responsible for overall strategic vision, creative strategy, go-to-market execution, as well as long-term growth goals and target audiences, both domestically and in international territories for Roku Originals. His team is bringing highly anticipated titles including WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, To Paris For Love: A Reality Rom Com, Slip, Die Harter, Honest Renovations and many more to millions of streamers to enjoy for free. Before joining Roku, Eilenberg most recently served as chief creative officer at ITV America, responsible for the company’s creative strategy and growth opportunities across six production labels – ITV Entertainment, Leftfield Pictures, Sirens Media, Thinkfactory Media, High Noon Entertainment and Good Caper Content – and leveraging global formats for the U.S. market. Among the many series he has spearheaded are the multi-Emmy-winning Queer Eye (Netflix); Love Island (CBS and now Peacock in 2022); Hell’s Kitchen (Fox); The Chase (ABC); My Mom, Your Dad (HBO Max); and Rat in the Kitchen (TBS). Prior to ITV, Eilenberg was senior vice president of unscripted development, late night and specials at Turner, overseeing such series as King of the Nerds and Cold Justice, as well as the late-night CONAN, starring Conan O’Brien.

Rodrigo Mazon, EVP, GM, SVOD OTT Digital Content, ViX+
Mazon is EVP, general manager of ViX+ at TelevisaUnivision, Inc., the world’s leading Spanish-language media and content company. Mazon is responsible for TelevisaUnivision’s global SVOD service, ViX+, its content and programming strategy, original content production, talent relations, content acquisitions, subscriber growth and retention. With over two decades of entertainment industry experience, including 10 years in streaming, Mazon is a seasoned content executive specializing in programming strategy, TV/film productions and acquisitions for audiences in Latin America, Spain and the U.S. Hispanic market. He spent the last six years at Netflix, most recently serving as VP of content, where he and his team acquired or produced hit series such as La Casa de Papel, Luis Miguel, La Serie, as well as El Chapo, a co-production with Univision. Before joining Netflix, Mazon was director of content acquisition at Hulu, where he launched Hulu Latino early in his tenure. He started his career in 2001 at MGM Studios, when he worked in corporate development managing the film greenlight process.
