Channel 4 brings back Got Your Back

Channel 4 in the UK has added a second season of comedian Joe Lycett’s consumer series Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, coproduced by Rumpus Media and My Options Were.

The 8×60’ series will again see the British comedian tackle consumer complaints and bring attention to large companies’ flawed customer service policies. The first season aired in April.

Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back was commissioned by Channel 4’s head of features and formats, Sarah Lazenby, and commissioning editor for features and formats, Jonny Rothery. The executive producers for Rumpus are Emily Hudd and Iain Wimbush.

Channel 4 has also commissioned a pilot for new comedy series under the working title Tom Allen Goes To Town (1×60’). The show will follow the comedian to a different UK town each week as he hosts a live comedy show.
