Bardel gets sales wind beneath Silverwing

NEWS BRIEF: Canadian animation house Bardel Entertainment has agreed a number of international sales for its series and movie trilogy Silverwing just ahead of MipTV.

Among the deals, all brokered by agent B Wooding Media, is a broadcast agreement with Jetix Latin America for all episodes of the series (13×22′) as well as the movie trilogy (3×72′).

German kids channel KiKa has also licensed the TV rights to the trilogy. Home entertainment rights to the series have been acquired by Australia’s Force Entertainment, while US distributor FUNimation has bagged North American home entertainment rights. Silverwing video/DVD product will hit retail in fall 2006.
