Ameba TV welcomes Red Carpet toon

Blinky & Knobby launched in Russia earlier this year

Canada-based children’s streaming platform Ameba TV has picked up animated web series Blinky & Knobby following a deal with Russia’s Red Carpet Studio.

Blinky & Knobby (26×1&2’) is a non-dialogue 3D web series that features two space travellers exiled on Earth for being lazy and dumb.

The series launched in Russia this year, with Red Carpet currently producing the second season for a spring 2020 release.

The deal marks the debut of the series in North America and is the first international distribution deal for Red Carpet Studio.

The prodco also has another two series in production, Space Doctor Сat and The Bugabooz.
