Canal+ renews rights to teen fantasy drama Le 422 with S3 in development

Le 422 follows five teenagers who find themselves in a parallel world

French pay TV broadcaster Canal+ has renewed its rights to the first two seasons of French-Canadian teen fantasy drama series Le 422, which is currently in development on a third season.

Seasons one and two of Le 422 (25×30’) will run on Canal+ for an additional period.

HG Distribution is now seeking international coproduction partners for S3, which is planned as 10 to 13 episodes each of 30 minutes.

Le 422 follows five teenagers who enter a parallel world, tasked by a celestial being with a series of challenges to find a hidden treasure. The French-language series is produced by Blachfilms for Télé-Québec.
