3DD is unveiling five new factual series and adding Narrative’s feature film catalogue to its international sales offering following its acquisition.

With Narrative’s backing, 3DD enters the market with a broader catalogue and fresh opportunities for production, coproduction and sales.

New on the slate for Mipcom is Homicide Holmes (6×45’), Fault Line: The Age of Disaster (8×45’), Murder Maps: Femme Fatale (6×45’), Myths & Legends (6×45’), Stalin’s Spy Network (3×45’) and Murder Maps: The Haunted (6×45’).

Alongside these launches and its back catalogue of more than 700 hours, 3DD will introduce international buyers to Narrative’s feature film offering. Highlights include summer hit Waterpark Shark and Christmas releases A Snowbound Christmas, Christmas on Camera and A Christmas Party, together with libraries from CMG, Wolfe Video, Persimmon, Chroma and Treasury.

Daniel Levin, CEO of Narrative, said: “3DD is a great cultural fit for us – strong international relationships, talented producers, and an appetite to do much more.”

Patricia Hickey, 3DD’s head of sales and coproduction, said: “This is a big moment for 3DD. At a challenging time for independent producers, Narrative has invested in our work, our team and our future. We can keep making the factual television we love, pursue new creative partnerships and bring an extensive feature film library to our buyers. We’re heading to Mipcom with six new series and more to offer than ever before.”

The move comes after Narrative’s 2021 acquisition of Sony’s former UK television assets including children’s brands Pop and Tiny Pop which it has since migrated on to digital FAST platforms like Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels and Pluto TV. Narrative also operates the Great! family of linear channels.
