YLE, TV Puls purring for Kid-E-Cats

MIPJUNIOR: YLE in Finland and Poland’s TV Puls have picked up animation Kid-E-Cats from distributor APC Kids.

Additionally, TG4 in Ireland and Canada’s Knowledge Network have also acquired the series, which is based on an original Russian show produced by CTC Media and Studio Metrafilm.

The new deals follow on from the agreement reached with Nickelodeon International recently, which will see the 52×5′ show air in over 140 countries this autumn, including India, South Korea and Australia.

The international version of Kid-E-Cats, which follows the adventures of three kittens, has seen APC Kids attach industry veteran Nigel Pickard as exec producer and Ceri Barnes (Postman Pat) as story editor.
