TVNZ returns to Beyblade Bursts

New Zealand pubcaster TVNZ has renewed Japanese animated series Beyblade Burst for a second season.

The 51×22’ series, produced by D-Rights and animated by OLM, will air under the title of Beyblade Burst Evolution.

The show is an adaptation of a Japanese manga series that dates back almost 20 years. New York-based Sunrights distributes.

The manga was originally produced to help promote sales of Beyblades, a brand of spinning-top toys with customisable and interchangeable tops manufactured by Takara Tomy. Beyblade Burst is the third TV incarnation of the product.
