Toei trio travel to Brazil

Digimon Adventure will appear on Looke next month

Brazilian digital platform Looke has forged an agreement for programming from US-based distributor Toei Animation.

The deal will see Saint Seiya, Nadja and Digimon Adventure become available from June on the streaming service, which recently expanded its reach by merging with fellow Brazilian streamer Netmovies.

“Looke is a major player in one of the most important markets in the world, and we look forward to launching our partnership with this outstanding digital platform,” said Masayuki Endo, president of Toei Animation.

Toei launched the remastered version of Saint Seiya alongside Dragon Ball Z earlier this year and has agreed deals with broadcasters including Corporacion Ecuatoriana in Ecuador and Televisora Nicaraguense’s Canal 8.
