Scripps, ProSieben team up

German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 has agreed a partnership with US channels operator Scripps Networks Interactive covering over 1,200 hours of content.

Fixer Upper centres on design and remodelling professionals Chip and Joanna Gaines

Scripps’ Fixer Upper previously aired on ProSieben’s Sixx

The deal will see factual entertainment programming from Scripps air across ProSieben channels including Sixx, ProSieben Maxx and Kabel Eins Doku.

Programming blocks with HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network and Travel Channel branding will roll out over the ProSieben networks this spring.

The move extends an existing relationship that has previously seen Scripps content such as Fixer Upper air on Sixx.

Sixx will now add series including HGTV’s Listed Sisters and Food Network’s Giada in Italy to its line-up.

ProSieben Maxx will take DIY-themed programming including Treehouse Guys while Kabel Eins Doku will offer docs such as Mysteries at the Museum.

The deal includes extensive online rights to the content.
