Norway set for Armoza’s How To Be

A Norwegian broadcaster is set to air a local version of unconventional celebrity interview show How To Be, following a deal with Israel’s Armoza Formats.

Pubcaster NRK has commissioned a run of the show in partnership with Nice-owned prodco Monster, with an air date slated for later this year.

How To Be has been developed by Israel’s Artza Productions in collaboration with Armoza Formats and is a take on the typical celebrity interview shows.

With celebrities trained to conceal the personal details of their lives, the format flips the interview process on its head to allow the host to become the celebrity, and the celebrity to become the host.

Meanwhile, German public broadcaster ZDFNeo has commissioned a second season of the show.

Known locally as Michael Kessler ist… and produced by ITV Studios Germany, the new season is set to air this summer in a primetime slot.

This follows on from a strong first season that increased the channel’s share by 40%, leading to the episodes being rerun on the main ZDF channel.
